About Me
Happiest when I can
improve digital experiences.
Product designer with five years across fintech, insurance comparison, payments, and government. I bring design systems, accessibility, and prototyping-in-code to products where the domain is dense and the stakes for clarity are real.
Background
A maker from the start
I like to design and build things. Whether that's in Figma, in code, or figuring out what I can get my 3D printer to do next. The first webpage I ever published was in 2010, when I was 12: a Wikipedia page promoting an MMORPG I loved growing up.
I've shipped products across fintech, SaaS, and government. The industries are different, but the same question always applies: will this actually improve the end-user experience, and is it worth the business investing to build it?
How I Work
Research to production
I use technology to solve problems. This means working closely with PMs, researchers, and engineers to turn insights and ideas into digital experiences that are practical, usable, and production-ready.
I specialise in design systems, accessible UI, and product design within complex, multi-stakeholder environments. My background in frontend development (React, Vue, Nuxt, Tailwind) means I can bridge the gap between design intent and production code, whether through detailed documentation or by getting involved during implementation.
Accessibility
Lived, not learned from a checklist
Before design, I spent three years in disability and aged care as an NDIS support coordinator. That work included designing the interior of a respite home end-to-end, coordinating with occupational therapists to fit railings, ramps, lighting, and door handles around one participant's needs.
Designing a space someone has to physically move through changes how you approach designing anything to WCAG. Accessibility stopped being a checklist and became a default.
What Drives Me
Clarity changes outcomes
The domains I'm most drawn to are the ones where density is the problem - green finance, insurance comparison, agricultural emissions, mortgage serviceability. Not because they're aesthetically interesting, but because clarity actually changes outcomes in these spaces.
A clearer interface can change the decision a farmer makes about their land, or whether a small business owner understands what a payment plan costs them. That's where I want to work.
